The Standard Based
Assessment (SBA) and High School Graduation
Qualifying Exam (HSGQE and HSGQE Retest)
will be administered in April during the following
dates and times. A letter will be sent to all
Connections parents with the location and specific
information regarding their student(s). These
tests are extremely important; participation
is required by the State of Alaska.
Testing will follow this
schedule: Grades 3 - 12
- Reading................... Tuesday, April
6.............. 9 am – until finished.
- Writing............... Wednesday, April
7.............. 9 am – until finished.
- Math...................... Thursday, April
8.............. 9 am – until finished.
Science testing will be administered
only to grades 4, 8 and 10 on the following
date:
- Science.................. Thursday, April
1.............. 9 am – until finished.

HSGQE Retest are available at the following

March 15-19 for Spring Break. The Soldotna office
will be open with secretarial staff only. No
advisors will be available.
